Indesit National Mini Soccer Cup

Wembley dreams
really can come true

The Indesit National Mini Soccer Cup, in association with FourFourTwo, Powerleague and Mums in the Know, inspired families all across the UK on its road to Wembley.

Every player has heroes. Every player wants inspiration. And every player loves simply, to play, and that's what the Indesit National Mini Soccer Cup is all about.

The Cup's second season saw 140 teams and almost 1,200 kids take part during summer and autumn 2015. The mixed, mini soccer five-a-side tournament for under 8s and under 10s had 12 regional heats with winners playing for outright victory at Wembley Powerleague. Providing a memorable day for all the family, teams had the chance to tour the famous pitch and stadium and compete in fun football challenges testing skill and precision.

Competition was fierce at Finals Day, and saw Focus Football, from Haringey, crowned champions for the Under 8s category, beating Hebburn Town Junior Blues Barca 7-2. Lisbon Juniors, of Manchester, took the title for the Under 10s after a nail biting penalty shoot-out with Academy De Skillz. But above all, everyone celebrated the fun of youth football.

We all know what five-a-side can do to your skills, team-work and fitness, so look out for your chance to follow in the footsteps of your heroes later this year.
